Great brunch spot! The maple brown butter latte was amazing, and the classic breakfast is a great go-to! Only issue is the food took a while, which would’ve been totally fine had we not been rushed out of our table at the end by the staff due to another reservation. We kind of felt like we had to eat and run, so just don’t plan on hanging around for long after your meal! Will definitely still return!

Super cute place with incredible food. We started with the hummus, and I was very impressed with everything about it. I got squash salad and added chicken and it was fabulous. Very flavorful, but not too much. My children both got the shawarma bowl with chicken and they both loved it. I was impressed with everything we ordered. Our server was the only server on with quite a few tables and she was so attentive, kind, and helpful. We got a fun cocktail with mezcal and it was di favori without being overpowering in sweetness. I will be back!

Fantastic find for gluten free options, a gf Cajun fried chicken sandwich anyone? Wait staff was excellent, friendly, & knowledgeable. Menu was diverse (and 90 percent gluten free). Selected dishes were delicious.

We popped in for a late lunch but landed during brunch which was a bonus. The place is nice and bright with ample seating. We opted to share a couple of things. The cheeseburger was perfectly cooked and fries were awesome. The oven pancake was good too but the Aperol Spritz could have used a splash more Prosecco. The service was fast and friendly. Enjoyable meal, we’ll be back.

We've been meaning to try this place out for sometime now. It didn't disappoint. Our server was great. She was attentive and made sure our order got in before a large table she had, so we wouldn't have to wait. We ordered the A-Side Burger and it was luscious, messy, and good. The mussels were delicious too with all the chopped garlic and capers. The chicken wings were small, but the amount you get isn't bad and they were tasty. There are other things we'd like to try, but we'll save them for next time. And since every neighborhood needs some kind of human 'watering hole' (even though I don't drink), this is a good addition to the neighborly watering holes in St. Paul.

A fantastic new spot in a converted old firehouse. Make sure you check out the A-SIDE wings for a perfect blend of sweet & heat (these were a huge hit with our 9mo old also) and the burgers are wonderful. The frites as perfectly done with just the right amount of crunch and it all pairs perfectly with a nice tap beer. Wonderful large space with plenty of room and cool decorative touches including the vintage fire pole on the bar side and massive garage doors that let in a ton of light to the space. Service was fantastic, especially for a soft opening, with staff checking in and even making sure the tiny human had what she needed! Can’t wait to get back.

After moving to St. Paul this weekend I decided to check out A-Side Public House that opened up last month. Built in the old West 7th Fire Station this Brewpub is serving up a mix of American and French cuisine. I tried their namesake burger the A-Side Burger which is two smashed patties topped with bacon, carmelized onions & garlic, pickles, gorgonzola dolce, and a tart cherry aioli. Served on a toasted brioche bun. I love how the rich gorgonzola gets cut by the cherry aioli and mixes with the crispy meat patties. They give you a pile of thin cut frites. A-Side will be serving up their own house-made beers starting shortly making them Minnesota's newest brewpub.

First visit to this St. Paul eatery. Very cute and spacious restaurant that opens on the front to the street. The weather was perfect and it made for a delightful indoor/outdoor experience. Service was wonderful and the food was delightful. Caesar salad was fresh and plentiful. And the baked French onion soup was some of the best I've ever eaten. Highly recommend!

Went to A-Side for the first time yesterday and LOVED it! It is in a converted firehouse and in nice weather they open the garage doors so you get to enjoy the breeze while being out of the sun. They also have a patio as well. Overall this place has a terrific ambiance. The menu isn't big but has a great range of choices including some tasty appetizers. We started with a couple of very well-crafted cocktails and the charcuterie board which was one of the best I've had in a while. Beautiful cheeses, quality fruits, nuts, and jams. It also included some French Saucisson, smoked salmon and a wonderful pate. We also ordered their side of French bread which was good as well and came with a whipped rosemary-sea salt butter. We then decided to share the French Onion Steak Sandwich with fries. The beef was incredible! Very flavorful and tender, plenty of cheese and fresh greens too on a soft roll. Definitely a knife and fork sandwich however. Between the atmosphere, great service and well-prepared quality food this was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it!

We ordered the French onion soup, the French onion sandwich and the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich. Each had a side of frites and it was AMAZING. Everything was so fresh and absolutely perfect. Service was a little on the slower side for a Tuesday but over all amazing.
